Learn the craft of jewelry making in these one day studio classes. Students will learn how to create either a bracelet, ring, or necklace pendant using a variety of metals including, brass, copper and silver. For a bracelet or ring you will twist and manipulate wire to create either a triple band design for a cuff, or use wire to design a braided or twisted ring design. Covering basic metalsmithing skills, you will solder either the end caps of your bracelet or complete your ring design. For a necklace pendant, you will file, shape and imprint with pattern plates before soldering a 1/2 bead as decorative accent and drill a hole(s) to attach jump ring(s) to complete your project.
All levels welcome for these beginner friendly workshops!
