Fee: $150 for 3 week course includes 2” square piece of fine silver, cloisonné wire provided. Wooden boxes to set enamel pieces in are an extra $35.​

Cloisonné involves designing with silver wire using transparent enamels on fine .999 silver. In this 3 class course, you will learn how to design and enamel a 2” fine silver square. This piece may be mounted on a wooden box or framed (box and frame are not included in course).

Week One:

• Line drawing to fit the 2” fine silver square
• Copy line drawing with fine silver cloisonne wire
• Counter fire the 2” silver square

Week Two:

• Apply formed silver wires to top of 3” square
• Begin coloring in design with wet packed enamel
• (Each piece can take as many as ten firings to complete)

Week Three:

• Continue with any enameling to complete your piece
• Learn finishing techniques and set finished enamel in box or frame.
