Location: Art Barn Painting Studio
Fee: $110 includes all materials* (students are encouraged to bring their own paper, photos, fabric, pictures, stencils & stamps). *Please bring scissors and a small (baby-food size) jar with a lid.

Collage is a visual representation made from an assembly of different forms, materials and sources to create a new whole.
A Collage or Mixed Media piece may include paint, news paper clippings or pictures, ribbons, threads or yarns, bits of colored paper or hand made papers, portions of other artwork, photographs and such... glued or otherwise affixed to a canvas or other solid support surfaces. 

It’s super fun and foolproof. Many previous attendees have amazed themselves with the results of their creations.  The process is totally forgiving allowing for renovation and revision.  Your creative juices will flow in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. 

We are planning a workshop every month, throughout the winter and spring and each will have a different theme to help provide some focus.

Learn how to make a hand-made book! From creating a collaged cover to binding unique, recycled interior pages within it, this class will offer you the guidance and all materials necessary to help you make a one-of-a-kind journal suitable for gifting; using as a guest book at your rental, wedding, or big event; or as a travelog of your adventures on the Island. (You also could just keep it for yourself!)
