Summer Art Camp General Information

Please be sure to fill in all information requested online. We will be following up with every registrant for full contact and camper information.

Cancellation Policy/Refunds

• A refund, less a $75 processing fee, will be granted if you wish to withdraw your child from camp prior to June 1, 2023.
• A 50% refund will be issued if you cancel after June 1st but in advance of 2 weeks prior to your child's scheduled camp start date.
• Refunds will not be granted if you cancel within 2 weeks of your child's scheduled camp start date.
• Each weekly program requires a minimum number of campers. Full refunds are given only if Featherstone cancels the camp.

Health and COVID-19 Safety Protocols for 2023 Season

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our staff members, campers, and families. All Featherstone events will be compliant to CDC, state, and local guidelines and outdoor activities will be prioritized. Featherstone requires a self-screen from every family prior to the beginning of camp each day. Please keep your child at home if they are sick and please inform us if they have tested positive for Covid-19.

Pick-up and Drop-off

Each camp will run from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. At drop-off, please walk your camper to the appropriate studio classroom and sign them in with the camp teacher(s). Campers will not be permitted to the leave until their Parent/Guardian has arrived at the studio classroom for pick-up at noon. 

* Children should bring a healthy, nut-free, mid-morning snack.

Staff

Featherstone Center for the Arts camp staff all undergo National and Massachusetts background checks (CORI and SORI).  There is a certified CPR and First Aid staff member on site at all times.

Discovery Studio Summer Art Camp

 June 26 - 30:  Acrylic Painting with Donna Straw
July 5 - 7 (no July 3 & 4)*: Collage with Bricque Garber
July 10 - 14: Printmaking with Allison Doherty
July 17 - 21: Photography with Kate Patterson
July 24 - 28: Printmaking with Allison Doherty
July 31 - August 4: Ceramics with Sabrina Kuchta
August 7 - 11: Printmaking with Allison Doherty

Time: 9:00AM to 12:00PM
Fee: $400 per week (*$320 for Juneteenth 4 day week, $240 for 4th of July 3 day week)
Please note: Campers should bring a healthy, nut-free, mid-morning snack each day to camp. ​
