(Fall22) Children: Creative Spark (ages 9-12)

*PLEASE NOTE: parents/guardians are asked to download and use the REMIND "Remind: School Communication" app on your mobile phone www.remind.com. The app will facilitate communications between our Children's Studio instructors and parents/guardians (including emergency contact). Also, all children are required to wear a mask within the studio and all buildings at Featherstone. 

 

Creative Spark (ages 9-12 years old)

Fee: $150 per 5 week session / $180 per 6 week session
Materials provided. Students should bring a nut-free snack.

Artists will be encouraged to observe the world around them and have the opportunity to create and color their own worlds. Each student will begin class exploring their creative spark with ceramic hand building led by Sabrina Kuchta within our pottery studio. Coral Shockey will then lead artists into themed art explorations within our drawing studio using an array of art mediums ranging from watercolors, acrylic paints, collage, mosaic tiles, jewelry-making, mixed media and print making.  Renown artists throughout time and space will be intertwined within the weekly projects to further inspire creative visual art techniques.
