May 22: Power of 3  Break out the pastel colors! Let's get together to dabble with colors, shapes and innovative play. For this workshop we will be working on 3 items.  The process is fun and virtually foolproof so if you have not worked in Collage before, I invite you to give it a whirl.  I hope those of you who have come before, will join us again for a creative early-spring day of cutting, pasting and stretching your creative muscles.
You will be provided canvases, brushes, paint, medium, paper and stimulating conversation.

June 26: Intuitive Collage  Let’s get together and combine paper, bits & pieces and glue to reflect reality.  For this workshop we will be working on 3 items.  The process is fun and virtually foolproof so if you have not worked in Collage before, I invite you to give it a whirl.  I hope those of you who have come before, will join us again for a creative day of cutting, pasting and stretching your creative muscles. Each workshop I will put forward a theme or direction to get the ball rollin’.  For this workshop the triptych theme is wide open.  You might think about three pieces hanging together that could be viewed as a single complimentary work. Each of us are a collage of our interests, our influences, our inspirations and all the impressions we collect by being alive. You will be provided canvases, brushes, paint, medium, paper and stimulating conversation.

July 24: Lovers & Other Strangers  For this workshop we will be working on 3 8x8 pieces.  The theme is people.  This is a subject that can be scary but let's move past the fear to the fun part.  The challenge is more who than what.  Who?...there are millions of folks to choose from. Consider, family, friends, revered persons, fictitious, rock stars, historical figures or anonymous characters.
What?...cut, tear, glue, paint and embellish.
All materials will be provided and we will have a day of inspiration and creativity.

August 28: Summer Art  For this workshop we will be working on 3 8x8 pieces.  I invite you to consider the 3 pieces for hanging together as a cohesive piece of work, where the theme, colors and or images work together. The theme is Summer: The beach, the sand, the heat,  the sun, the food, the crowds... the flowers.  Express your feelings about August on the island.  The challenge is choosing  your subjects with so much visual stimulation!  Hope to see you there to cut, tear, glue, paint and embellish.
All materials will be provided and we will have a day of inspiration and creativity.
