Come meet award winning artist Bryan Collier and participate in a unique workshop at Featherstone during From Caldecott to Coretta Scott: Award winning Black Illustrators exhibit curated by R. Michelson Galleries. The art workshop is an exercise in collage making using simple shapes, colors and textures with basic materials like glue, scissors, pencils, paper, watercolors, brushes and old magazines (bring any paper materials you would like to use) to create any kind of image your mind can conjure up in a pressure-free environment. Ages six to one hundred and six are encouraged to participate.
