Come experience the magic of enameling from grains to glossy.  Make a variety of pieces from jewelry to giftware. Depending on number of firings per piece, each class will be able to complete at least two projects. A wooden box top inset, an ornament, a small dish, and/or a piece of jewelry.
You will learn how to:
        - prepare metal
        - apply enamel
        - learn to sift, stencil, scaffito and more
        - fire enamel with torch or kiln
        - finish piece using jewelers flex shaft
Best of all, you will take home some wonderful examples of enamels you have created.

For safety reasons we ask everyone to comply with the dress code policy in the Metals Department: Closed-toe footwear (no sandals), pants/shorts must go below the knee, long hair must be pulled back from the face and secured. Wear a headband or a hat without a visor if your hair can’t be tied back.
